Our name was inspired from the German expression “Mehr Licht!”, which means More light, more knowledge, more clarity, more truth!
Making knowledge accessible
More light! perfectly epitomizes the scope of the museological, scenographic and exhibition design services we provide. Merlicht aims to make knowledge as accessible, enlightening and entertaining as possible. Through our creative means, we enrich the visitor experience in museums, interpretation centres, protected natural areas, and more.
Merlicht is run by two partners who possess extensive experience in exhibition, interpretation tools and graphic communications design and production:
Louise Lalonde is a museology consultant and an exhibit project producer and manager. She holds a master’s degree in directing from Tulane University. For the past 13 years, she has focused her talents as a creator and coordinator on exhibition projects.
François St-Pierre Allaire is an exhibit designer and project manager, as well as a coordinating manager for exhibit construction. After completing his degree in architecture 16 years ago, he put his unbridled imagination and talent to work by contributing to numerous exhibitions.
Our collaborators Merlicht relies on a network of experienced collaborators in different fields and can build a dedicated team to meet the specific needs of each project: research assistants, writers, translators, graphic designers and technicians, technology specialists, audiovisual producers and scenic studios, etc.
