Forillon National Park (Parks Canada) wanted to provide the thousands of visitors it welcomes annually with 24/7 access to park information. Merlicht was therefore mandated to create content for an outdoor welcome kiosk in the park’s south sector (sector head). Highlighting the beauty of the natural landscape, the graphic approach is driven by large-scale photographs. Inside the kiosk are maps, texts, displays, flyers and even kid-friendly content. The streamlined design in harmony with nature allows visitors to discover all the park has to offer. The graphic surfaces are made from materials that resist harsh weather conditions and wear. Merlicht developed exclusive, cost-effective and resistant hybrid panels, as well as flyer distribution holders that may be manufactured for national parks across Canada.
