As part of the project to renew its interpretation and visitor tools, the Zoo sauvage de Saint-Félicien mandated Merlicht to create a discovery experience and reimagine the beaver lodge. Upon entering the exhibition area, visitors follow a beaver into its underwater universe. An animation invites them to walk through a staggered corridor to see a window into the lodge at the end of the tunnel. A monumental fresco covers the entire space, along with water effect projections that create movement and foster a sense of immersion under water. The discovery of the beavers in their lodge also involves several interactive texts presented in illuminated bubbles that reveal all sorts of fun facts about the iconic animal.
