Merlicht developed 140 outdoor interpretation panels for the three Nunavik parks on themes ranging from Cree and Inuit culture, natural science and local fauna and flora to natural attractions. The texts are enhanced by illustrations that tie into local cultures (animals, landscapes, legends, etc.). To strengthen the links between the three parks and create a strong visual identity for them to share, our teams designed an identification motif that appears on every panel.

The panels present information in four languages: Inuktitut, Cree, French and English. They are built to withstand the test of time and extreme arctic conditions (low temperatures, permafrost, corrosion, vandalism, difficult access to the sites to install the panels, etc.).
